GSCS Day One in the District is an initiative designed to welcome our scholars, families, faculty & staff back to school on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Participants (residents, volunteers, community stakeholders, Partners In Education and elected officials) will welcome the scholars and parents with a smile on the first day of school. Sixteen scholarships of $1,000 each were awarded to Spalding County residents today totaling $16,000. Funds for these scholarships are raised from the Kiwanianne Korn Dawg sales. Congratulations to all of the scholarship recipients! These 11 GSCS students received scholarships.
